The HeartWood Lab Approach
In the first year, we intend to hone our expertise in the use of sensor imagery and data to assist with decision-making to improve the return on investment for our agricultural customers. We recognize that in order to build solutions that matter, our products must deliver accurate results while adding value for the customer. We process the imagery for all flights, and frequently walk the Experimental Farm to validate those results. We take soil and tissue samples as necessary, and conduct needed laboratory tests.
We believe that real “Ground Truthing” involves extensive collection of all available data to inform analysis for decision making and recommendations.
